About the Scholarship
Basch Keegan & Spada, LLP is proud to support graduating seniors in our local community who are continuing their education after high school. This scholarship is designed to recognize students who demonstrate character, determination, and commitment to their future goals.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
Be a graduating senior from an Ulster County high school
Plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year college, university, or accredited vocational/trade program
Submit a one-page essay explaining why they should be selected
Submit all materials by May 1

Essay Topic
Applicants should submit a one-page essay describing:
Their future educational and/or career goals
How they have contributed to their school or community
Why they believe they should be selected for this scholarship
Submission Requirements
Applicants must include:
One-page essay
Copy of acceptance letter (if available)
Completed student application form

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on:
Strength and thoughtfulness of essay

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by Basch Keegan & Spada, LLP
One recipient will be selected from each school district in Ulster County
Schools may be contacted to confirm eligibility
Winners will be notified through their school and directly by the firm
Award Details
One $1,000 scholarship per participating district
Payment issued directly to the selected student
Recipients may be recognized in local media or firm announcements
