We are pleased to sponsor the 2017 Shamrock Run in Kingston, NY!
Sunday, March 12th, 2017: The Shamrock Run is a 2-mile Family Fun Run that leads the St. Patrick’s Parade down Broadway. The run starts at Academy Green and ends at the foot of Broadway in the Rondout district. This event brings Kingstonians and members of the surrounding Hudson Valley communities out to kick off the start of Spring.
Approximately 4,500 runners will participate. The Start Line is marked by a banner strung across Albany Avenue two weeks prior to the run. The Finish Line will be marked by a banner strung across Broadway. Runners receive a medal at the finish and post-race awards will be given out followed by a giveaway presentation at the Rondout Neighborhood Center. A trip to Ireland for two is raffled along with numerous prizes!
